In June 4, 2010, JSAE and SAE International signed a Reciprocal Promotion Agreement. This means that both parties bring in specific public relations material and share it on each other's network on an equal basis.

JSAE has found great value in SAE International's more than 100,000 members spread around the world, and SAE International has found great value in JSAE's network of tens of thousands of Japanese people in the automotive industry, leading to the agreement.

In the future, we will increase the number of PR items for overseas and work to communicate JSAE's activities to the world even more than ever before.

Regarding the Memorandum of Understanding with SAE International Regarding Joint Management of the Conference

JSAE has been promoting the revitalization of international activities for some time, and one of the important issues is building a mechanism to advance internationalization work. We have recently signed the "AGREEMENT BETWEEN JSAE and SAE in case of the JOINT ORGANIZATION of FUTURE CONFERENCES" with SAE International, and we look forward to further cooperation in the future. Both parties have confirmed that they will continue to consider the matter.
The main points of this memorandum can be summarized in the following five points:
At a conference and meeting jointly managed by JSAE and SAE,

  1. The organizing organization will be responsible for all aspects of the running of the event, including the Technical Sessions and exhibitions, and will enlist the cooperation of supporting organizations as necessary to ensure smooth running of the event.
  2. The supporting organizations may cooperate with hosting organizations upon request.
  3. The leading organization and supporting organization will share the copyright of the published papers.
  4. The supporting organizations may set up publication sales corners and exhibition booths with mutual agreement.
  5. Based on the principle of mutual benefit, the JSAE and SAE shall alternately hold joint conferences and enjoy the benefits equally.

While promoting this kind of cooperative relationship, it is hoped that the signing of this memorandum will be a stepping stone for the JSAE to establish an equal status with SAE.
