"Special Feature: Safety Technologies for the Protection of Humans, Cargo, and Society"
With "Protecting People, Cargo, and Society" as our key theme, we re-examined automotive safety technologies from both the perspectives of prevention and damage reduction. From driver assistance and AI that protect people, to connected and logistics technologies that protect cargo, to hydrogen safety, communications, and security technologies that protect society, the scope of safety extends beyond the vehicle. By taking a comprehensive overview of diverse technologies and perspectives, we have re-examined the essence of safety and future challenges.
