Special Feature: Frontiers of Sound and Vibration Engineering Required for Next-generation Vehicles
"Sound" and "vibration" have a direct effect on human senses, creating both comfort and discomfort up to the present day. In the case of automobiles, while quietness is highly valued, there has also been a need to address the issue of vehicles being "too quiet to be noticed by pedestrians." In light of these issues, this special issue introduces a wide range of cutting-edge research into "sound" and "vibration" for next-generation automobiles. Please take a look.
