"Initiatives for the application of ultra-high strength steel sheets to automobiles"                                                         JFE Steel Corporation Steel Research Institute

We will introduce the features of various ultra-high strength steels that can reduce the weight of automobile bodies and contribute to reducing CO2 emissions.

We will also introduce the challenges in applying ultra-high strength steel to automobiles, as well as efforts and knowledge aimed at solving these challenges, with a focus on hydrogen embrittlement and delayed fracture.

"Sensing technology that enables prediction of corrosion life of automotive materials"                                                       Mr. Yasuhiko Saijo, Shrinks Co., Ltd.

Extending the lifespan of automobiles is an important issue in realizing a sustainable society, and corrosion monitoring technology that enables lifespan prediction is essential.

This presentation will explain the concept and examples of sensor technology for monitoring corrosion behavior. We will introduce the latest trends in three sensors with different measurement methods: ACM sensors, electrical resistance sensors, and AC impedance sensors.
