Announcement of publication of the November 2024 issue of Journal of Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan

Publication information

<Special feature> Fuel Revolutionizes Internal Combustion Engines.

An engine cannot exist on its own; it only achieves its performance when combined with the appropriate fuel. In order to achieve carbon neutrality in the future, the automotive and fuel industries, which are responsible for engines and fuels, are collaborating to optimize the combination of combustion methods and fuel types. A wide variety of new fuels are emerging, and engines are evolving to suit the unique characteristics of each fuel.
In this special feature, we have published articles on synthetic fuels, fuel composition optimization, ammonia, and the introduction of new fuels for aircraft and ships.
Also, on the opening page, continuing from the May issue, we introduce the "3rd Legend Project (Part XNUMX)" where we talk with legends of the automobile industry. Please also take a look at the talk by Toshihiro Ichinose and Tomohiko Koike, truck engineers of All Japan Super Formula Championship (SF) TEAM MUGEN.
