<Special feature> Multi-material mobility through joining different materials and using the right material in the right place

　Nowadays, there is an even greater need for both safety and weight reduction in cars, so this issue focuses on "multi-materialization" and "material innovation" and covers trends in multi-materialization, evaluation by LCA, bonding technology, and composite materials. We featured examples of material development and application to automobile parts. We also introduce bonding technologies that are highly recyclable and the impact that bonding technologies have on ride comfort.
　As cars continue to change, we hope that this issue will be helpful in developing production and manufacturing technology to keep pace with these changes. Please take a look.
