Student activities
With the aim of nurturing future automotive and mobility engineers, the association holds a wide variety of events and competitions, such as "Kids Engineer" for elementary school students, the "Mobility Design Contest" for junior and senior high school students, and "Formula SAE Japan" for technical college and university students.
If you would like to support our association's human resources development project, we would appreciate it if you could support us using the information below.

Events
kids engineer
Kids Engineer is an experiential learning event that gets kids interested in science, technology, and manufacturing in various fields, with a focus on automobiles.
We hope that the children who became interested in science and manufacturing through this event will become engineers who support Japan in the future.
Mobility design contest
This contest is aimed at junior high and high school students and aims to discover and develop creative talent who will lead the future of Japan's manufacturing and automobile industries.
There is no greater joy than if everyone who emerges from this contest one day becomes a driving force behind mobility design in Japan and even the world.
Formula SAE Japan
Students, who play the leading roles, conceptualize, design, manufacture, and develop their own motorsport vehicles, and by competing with each other to demonstrate their overall manufacturing capabilities, this event is supported by industry, academia, government, and the private sector, and contributes to the development and promotion of automobile technology and industry. The purpose is to develop human resources.
Student Safety Technology Design Competition (SSTDC)
There are two parts: a presentation by a team of university and graduate students on how to solve automotive safety problems, and a demonstration using a working prototype that embodies the problem. This competition is characterized by the many innovative ideas proposed by students.
Student activity planning WG
In the Student Activities Planning WG, student committee members personally cover events and companies that interest them, and write reports on what they felt and learned.
Student Automobile Research Group (Gakujiken)
It was established in September 1948, the year after the founding of JSAE, with the purpose of deepening student members' interest in JSAE and promoting friendship among student members. Students from each region are actively engaged in activities such as company tours, research presentations, and test drives. We also post activity reports and event announcements on Facebook, which is operated by the Student Web Activities Committee, and serves as a place for interaction.
