This conference, which started as the Fuels and Lubricants Meeting by SAE International, has been held internationally in the spring since 2000 and in the United States in the fall (since 2011, it has been integrated into the spring SAE World Congress), and since 2003 at JSAE, We have started co-hosting with SAE International. In 2009, the name was changed to Powertrains, Fuels and Lubricants Meeting to reflect the technological situation at the time. In 2023, the name was changed to Powertrains, Energy and Lubricants Meeting when it was held in Japan to reflect the current technological situation. In addition, Powertrains, Fuels and Lubricants Meeting will continue to be used in SAE.
