Following the SURIAWASE2.0 activities led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the ``MBD Promotion Center'' (JAMBE ) was established in July 2021.
In this forum, as part of the activities of the JAMBE Domestic Collaboration Working Group, we will discuss model distribution interface guidelines and model distribution promotion activities at JAMBE, committee activities related to model distribution at FMI (Functional Mockup Interface) and JSAE, 3D-VG WG, The aim is to introduce examples of model connection and distribution activities using ProStep iViP and others in Europe, as well as examples of MBD application in academia, and provide an overview and discussion of future innovations in automobile development.
Many activities for innovating automotive development by using MBD (model based development) and model exchange, led by SURIAWASE2.0 project by METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industries), for strengthening the competitiveness of the industries are on-going. To accelerate this movement, JAMBE (Japan Automotive Model Based Engineering promotion center) was established in July, 2021. In this Forum, many examples such as the model interface guideline by JAMBE MBD research committee, FMI (Functional Mockup Interface) Working Group of JSAE, ProStep iViP in Europe and other applications of MBD in both industry and academia will be introduced. It is intended to overlook and discuss the future innovation about the automotive development by the participants of this forum.
