The JSAE Award was founded in 1951 for the purpose of "Encouraging the improvement and development of automotive engineering and technology"
Since its establishment, the award has always attracted attention as an award representing the automotive technology field and the association, and the achievements of the award recipients have been highly evaluated.
Currently, there are six types of awards for each subject.

This award is given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the activities of the Technical Committee under the Technology Board, and was established with the aim of revitalizing Technical Committee activities.

This award was established at the 2002 JSAE Annual Congress (Spring) with the aim of improving the standard of presentations in the Technical Sessions.

It was established with the purpose of encouraging the improvement and development of automobile-related engineer education and human resource development in schools and social education. Instructing and training students and young engineers in automotive research and development, technology creation, manufacturing, etc., and establishing individuals or groups that have achieved outstanding activities and results, as well as creating engineer training and human resources training programs and developing teaching materials. The award is given to an individual or group who has contributed to the spread of the award and whose achievements are outstanding.

This was established with the aim of improving the status of the members and further revitalizing the JSAE by awarding the title of Fellow to regular members who have made significant contributions to achieving the JSAE's objectives and to the field of automotive science and technology. .

We would like to express our gratitude to those who have been active in editing and publishing publications of the JSAE over many years and have made significant contributions, and we would also like to express our gratitude to those who have made significant contributions to the editing and publishing activities of the JSAE, and also to ask those involved to understand the importance of publications.

With the aim of contributing to the invigoration of the Technical Sessions of our Society and increasing the number of presentations, we present certificates of appreciation to recognize the achievements of individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the Technical Sessions.

This award is given to student members who have made outstanding contributions to the activities of the Student Automotive Research Group.

This award was established with the purpose of contributing to the academic improvement and development of graduate students, and recognizes graduates who have conducted outstanding research at graduate school. Our research interests include not only the field of automobile technology but also a wide range of related fields.

We support students participating in the "FISITA Student Congress" and "APAC Student Program", when available.
