Recycling Technology Committee

1.Aim of activity

In order to mitigate climate change and realize a sustainable social system, we will analyze and consider the roles and responsibilities expected of automobile recycling technology in the future over the long term. Analyzing the improvement in the value of automobiles due to technological innovation, including changes and challenges in recycling technology, from the perspective of the automobile's life cycle, which includes manufacturing, driving, and disposal, and developing an approach that integrates and evaluates different indicators. including. At the same time, we will deepen our knowledge of system technologies and business models in advanced recycling countries, including Europe and the United States, and discuss structural changes in the recycling function due to the transformation of recycling systems in international society and the shift to electrification.

4. Volunteer activities

From the perspective of Sustainable Development Goals SDGs Goal 12, "Responsible Production and Responsible Consumption," we will consider the creation of new value in automobile recycling and changes in required technical performance. Assuming the transition to a sustainable society led by the SDGs, we will focus on collaborative models that link next-generation vehicles and recycling in the new normal society. For example, regular committees hold specialized meetings on topics such as Industry to car recycling, the establishment of networks between different industries that had previously been disconnected, the rise of recycling businesses in which manufacturers and consumers collaborate, and the role of system integrators in promoting this. Discussions will include topics provided by families.
