1.Aim of activity
The main purpose is to "provide a place to inform all JSAE members and all engineers involved in automobiles about trends in materials technology related to automobiles."

4. Volunteer activities
We will investigate a wide range of trends through the activities of the three Working Groups (Iron and Steel, Light Metals, and Chemicals), plan and manage the Materials Forum and Organized Sessions in the Technical Sessions, and hold public committee meetings to disseminate the information we have gathered.
