Vehicle Interior Environment Technical Committee
1.Aim of activity
Automotive air conditioning plays a crucial role in maintaining the thermal and air quality environment inside vehicles, while considering the health and safety of occupants in vehicles operating in various environments. Recent challenges include balancing efficiency requirements in electrified vehicles with occupant thermal comfort, and developing environmentally friendly heat pump technologies. Addressing these challenges requires perspectives and collaboration from a wide range of technical fields. This committee aims to enhance the advanced nature of automotive air conditioning technology and in-vehicle environment control technology in Japan by conducting surveys on common technology themes among companies, as well as sharing and discussing the latest information in the fields of air conditioning systems, thermal comfort, and air quality.
