Image Information Management Committee
1.Aim of activity
Video-recording drive recorders, which are rapidly becoming popular not only in commercial vehicles but also in general vehicles, are positioned as extremely important devices that will contribute to improving the safety of future automobiles. Furthermore, with the recent rapid progress in autonomous driving technology, discussions are progressing regarding information recording during driving and the use of video information. Under these circumstances, our committee has been working as an organization that specializes in discussing the use of near-miss video data from drive recorders, etc., and the use of video information in autonomous driving technology. The purpose of this committee is to promote the development of automobile-related technologies that contribute to the safety and efficiency of automobile traffic, as well as to strive to foster young researchers and engineers.
