1.Aim of activity
Although the number of deaths and accidents caused by traffic accidents is on the decline, the number of accidents remains particularly high, making preventive safety technology to prevent accidents important. In addition, in recent years, accidents involving pedestrians, bicycles, and the elderly have accounted for a large proportion of accidents, and countermeasures are urgently needed. Therefore, in order to improve automobile active safety (preventive safety) technology, we will conduct research, research, and technology exchange on the following items.
(1) Vehicle dynamic characteristics desirable for safety (vehicle control technology, ITS-related support technology, evaluation method)
(2) Driver characteristics during driving
(3) Elucidation of the causes of traffic accidents
