Vehicle Characteristics Design Committee
1.Aim of activity
Special-purpose vehicles such as large vehicles such as trucks and buses, construction vehicles, defense vehicles, railways, new transportation vehicles, and welfare vehicles are evolving to suit each usage environment. These various vehicles, including passenger cars, have improved safety while reducing the burden on humans through advances in driving support technology and the introduction of unmanned and remote control technologies, allowing them to operate not only in normal environments but also in difficult environments. It is hoped that convenience will continue to improve, such as making it possible to run and work smoothly. To achieve this, it is necessary to have a design that matches the vehicle characteristics required for each vehicle, and it is also essential to respond to the shift to electric vehicles, which is expected to rapidly advance in the future. This committee targets a wide range of vehicles, from passenger cars, trucks and buses, construction vehicles to welfare vehicles. ) and other elemental technologies and the construction of social infrastructure, with the aim of sharing future directions and technologies.

We will continue our activities to date, focusing on topics and related technologies such as mobility, elemental technology, operation systems, and electrosocial systems for passenger cars, large vehicles, industrial vehicles, defense vehicles, welfare vehicles, etc. Provide topics such as one thing or a different industry. In addition to providing topics, we will also conduct tours to understand the latest technologies related to the above and consider new directions. In addition, as part of our efforts to expand the number of EV vehicles in the future, we will consider a method of charging and supplying power directly while driving (Electric Road System) using large amounts of electricity to solve problems such as cruising range.
