Two-wheeled Vehicle Dynamics Committee
1.Aim of activity
Improvements in the safety of motorcycles are largely achieved through active safety technology due to their structure and characteristics. Research on the motion characteristics of two-wheeled vehicles, which is the basis of this, generally involves more degrees of freedom of movement and more related vehicle specifications than four-wheeled vehicles, so challenges remain in theoretical analysis as well. This committee aims to further improve the safety of motorcycles, etc. by activating technical exchange and information exchange among engineers and researchers involved in research and development related to motorcycles, bicycles, and PMVs (personal mobility vehicles). The purpose is to contribute to the development of a healthy mobility society.

4. Volunteer activities
In 2024, in addition to the conventional technology exchange on cutting-edge research and development topics, we will continue to plan online forums in 2023 to discuss the significance and fun of working in the motorcycle industry, mainly for university students who are just one step away from becoming engineers. We will create a place where active engineers can tell their stories. We hope to stimulate the younger generation's interest in motorcycle research and contribute to the revitalization of the industry.
