Electric Drive Technology Committee
1.Aim of activity
We believe that the spread of electric, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and fuel cell vehicle technologies is an important key to achieving carbon neutrality in 2050. In order to develop the electric power technology required for these vehicles, we aim to improve Japan's automotive technology and give back to our members through activities such as investigating and researching not only Japanese technology but also global technology and compiling trends. Methods of giving back to members include providing topics within committees, public committees, OS planning in Technical Sessions, symposiums, etc.

4. Volunteer activities
- 1) As in previous years, we will position the presentation of topics at committee meetings as one of our important activities, and we will invite front-line engineers, mainly affiliated committee members, to actively share information.
- 2) The symposium will be planned and held in cooperation with other committees related to the latest electric powertrains, with specialized content that will satisfy those active in the industry. We aim to make the symposium easy to understand by having each lecturer introduce the latest technology and holding exhibitions and discussions.
- 3) For the JSAE Annual Congress (Spring), we will plan three sessions as usual, aiming to increase the number of participants and improve the quality. We will also consider actively supporting other academic conferences sponsored by JSAE.
- 4) The public committee aims to create easy-to-understand projects that will deepen the general public's understanding of electric power.
- 5) The tour will focus not only on electric power and its applications, but also on a wide range of areas related to transportation, with the aim of deepening knowledge of society that utilizes a wide range of transportation. Basically, it will be held in conjunction with the public committee.
