Mobility Society Committee

1.Aim of activity

New mobility represented by autonomous driving and MaaS will completely change the automobile society and is said to be a once-in-a-century mobility revolution. Achieving this new mobility society requires innovation in automobile technology, and the entire industry is working on this. On the other hand, when considering social implementation, it becomes important to consider social acceptability, as people vary in how they enter into people's lives and how new things are perceived. Therefore, with the theme of new mobility and society, we will implement new technologies and services into society by inviting not only automotive engineers but also experts from a wide range of fields such as sociology, psychology, medicine, and law to participate. What kind of system should be designed, what kind of social awareness should be realized, and how should the system be set up according to the characteristics of various people and the characteristics of the region? We will hold multifaceted discussions on a wide range of topics, such as how things should be. Furthermore, the aim is to disseminate the results of those discussions in the form of forums and symposiums.
